{Tot School} Thanksgiving

We are using Hubbard's Cupboard 2's Curriculum, adding in letters, shapes and colors. Emma is 29 months old.

Bible Memory:
Psalm 136:1a  Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.

Theme:
Thanksgiving

Literature and Language Arts:

Emma listened to stories then did several {upon her request} sheets tracing or dotting the letter T.

Each day we did school she'd fly through the worksheet I had for her then say "more please!!" so I printed off several pages from various Thanksgiving Packs, and for the first time for her we used preschool pre-writing print outs.  She loved them.  I quickly learned, for next time, that I should put them in a page protector to use with a dry erase marker since she loves it so much!

Math:

She did her first "connect a dot" this week and loved it, shouting "Hooray, Emma!!"

She loved the shadow matching Thanksgiving shapes, again shouting "Hooray, Emma!!" when it was complete.

Art:

She colored several pages from the Thanksgiving Just Color Pack from 1+1+1=1.  Also, we q-tip painted a corn with several different colored paints to make an Indian corn art.

Extra:

This week she loved playing Baby Shapes and Animals on the iPad.

Role Playing:

Her favorite role play this week was being a little momma.  Her favorite toy was the Playskool Peek a Boo Pop Up toy.  A thrift shop find that she adores!
